• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.

I played it for 2 years until I finally gave up my account near the end of last year. It is so addicting that it was all I ever did during my waking hours, except when I was at Tafe with Majestic or more like Flirting with Majestic! hehe just becareful, it could take over your life :lol2: Personally I miss playing it, but I know if I went back now, I'd never stop playing it hehe

It was fun, though not addicting at first. It wasn't till this last week that it became severely addicting. Though probably killing about 100 npc ships in a week, my first Player vs Player battle and finaly having skills at a level to get some decent ships and weapons helps too. The nearly endless mining I was doing before probably kept me from being completely addicted before...

lol the mining can be boring as, what race etc are you? I had an Amaar for a miner and a Caldari as my battle pilot, I was up to lvl2 missions on my Caldari, they were easy for me altho I was using Battle Cruisers and the like for those missions, I must admit they pay better than the standard lvl1 missions hehe, building your reputation is a big must for better missions and pay for that matter, the missions are real addictive, sometimes I wish I never gave my account away but then again when I think how much time I used to spend on there lol it was a good thing I did haha

I am Gallente, currently flying a Minmatar Bellicose. Its super ugly but way WAY better than my previous ship, a Catalyst that had to return for repairs an avarage of four times during one battle scenario. That was getting really old. I finally had the skills and money and got the Bellicose. (Trying to get a Hurricane next)
Compared to the previous battles in which I was constantly a barely surviving wreck at the end, now I am stomping the enemy like bugs in the missions. Half the ships seem to die as soon as I get the target lock, though excessive missles and drones tend to do that...
Though I am not kidding myself. There are still much MUCH bigger fish out there than me, so I am not getting to crazy.
Though it is fun to see little ant sized ships fly by now that I am in that ship when I undock from a station.

+ Ex-EVE player here Hi o/

Played since 03 until around 09 my claim to EVE-fame would be being in 0utbreak from 07 for around 2years, being in Triumvirate mk2 with Coracao Ardente and I guess Against all Authorities with Rionag Alba, but thats when EVE started to spiral off for me.

I was a thoroughbred PVP'er mostly preferring group small fleets roaming to large scale fleet fights, preferred the militaristic etiquette with a gamer/physiologic manner.

Came back to EVE for a couple months 4 months ago however its not for me anymore, Its highly stagnated for returning players and the company vision for the game is highly industrialised and pushing other IP's. Im hoping for the winter expansion to add real meaningful substance to PVP'er interaction.

I do miss the EVE Online community (ie voice communication and forums) There are some really amazing people play that game.
/long winded thanks for reading.
