Rake's weapon textures were revolutionary back in the early 2000's, the first mod that actively looked solely at improving the weapons and their appearance. Even today they still hold up as some of the best weapon textures you can find for the game.
Just today with the help of Cabal and Rifraf I have been able to get in contact with Rake. He has given me permission to host his files on MSFC.
I however don't know if this will apply to other sites so for now I consider it a MSFC exclusive. But considering pretty much every other site (except MSFC and Fleet Ops) are pretty much dead this I wouldn't see as much of an issue.
So you may use this work, as long as you credit him as the original creator in your readme files, and as long as it's only hosted on MSFC. This may change in the future and this resource will be updated according if it does.
