• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.

Imperial TIE/LN

FO-A2 Imperial TIE/LN 1.0

No permission to download
Here we have the first of the TIE series of models I have done, this is the most iconic one, the TIE Fighter or sometimes as the TIE Line Fighter. The main fighter in the Imperial Navy during the Galactic Civil War, the TIE Fighter was the fighter that all others were based off, with it's Twin Ion Engine (aka TIE), Cockpit Ball and solar panels, it set off an entire series of fighters that even over 100 years after it's introduction there were still fighters being produced that not only still shared the name TIE but also the basic similarities. The TIE will always be as recognizable with the Empire as the iconic Star Destroyer itself.

This model is 1308 poly's. I tried to strike a balance with this model so it can be used as a fighter or as a main ship in a fighter mod. Low poly enough to be massed produced but high poly enough to look good. An added note with this model it has 28 hardpoints and with each TIE release you'll need to replace the texture, as at least 5 of the TIE's I have done share the same texture, with additions made for each model.

Well I hope you enjoy this release as much as I did preparing it.

If you download this, please rate the file and leave feedback. It would be appreciated and every comment from the community motivates me to release more models for your enjoyment.
