This is not a place for criticism. Nor for flaming, should any get the idea.
This is a thread in which to share your beliefs and/or ideals, and what, possibly, caused you to follow or practice them.
I don't ever see a need for violence, and as such, if someone is physically harmful, or going to be, to me or anyone near me, I generally either end the problem, or contain it as best I can.
Peace can avert war. A well conducted conversation can fix near to all problems, fighting; non sequitur any problem you may have with someone, so long as they are also not out of bounds.
I don't care for hurting others feelings, but everyone can read into what you say with slightly different inflections, seeing different meanings, even if you hardly think they could.
In some cases this can lead to misinterpretations, and misrepresentation of thoughts, on the other parties end. If I were able to avoid this somehow I would, but as this is human nature, and controlling that would be a crime against free will, it simply isn't possible to avoid.
I've always been avoided, called "strange" by others and generally shunned by the cliques I've seen. Even the outcasts didn't have room for me.
I'm not asking for pity, and I'm not going to change my ideals to see eye to eye with anyone who is not willing to see things from a different perspective.
Also, I believe if you wish to quote someone, you should at least understand the context of what you're quoting, and not alter it or cut it short to fit your own thoughts, or use it as some form of accusatory evidence, when the context is wrong.
Please share freely, as it may help some understand you better.
