So what was, your first console??

Mine was a quaint little, and rarely seen Sega Multi-mega, and yes. I did save up for the thing. A mate of mine got me first hooked on the megadrive a bit before the multimega was released. What a system it was though. Of course, my reason for getting one was Gauntlet IV. Amazing game as far as I'm concerned and the first I ever got for any game system (my misus had a SNES but I wasn't really that impressed with it). In fact I still play it every so often today and although my multimega went the way of the dodo I still have the basic MD which hasn't failed me at all. Heres to another 10 years of usage (he says with crossed fingers).

My first console? Let's see.... It's many years ago, but I think it was a Nintendo (Sonic the Hedgehog and Super Mario bros are among those I played on it).

I pretty certain Sonic was the Sega Mascot as Mario is the Nintendo and Sonic was at that time only available on Sega systems.

My first console was the Sega Master System, with the built-in Alex the Kidd. I had a few games including the first Sonic game which at the time was a lot of fun.

I would later go on to get the Mega Drive II. I was quite upset when Golden Axe could only be played on the Mega Drive I.

That's possible, which also means I then had two consoles around the same time. :) Like I said, it's many years ago. :p

I believe that it would be the Sega Genesis, which I think we got from my uncle around 1997 or 1998. Lot of fun times playing Sonic and Scooby Doo games...

The older Sonic games are available as Virtual Console titles for the Wii, for some reason, but they were all on Sega systems until after the Dreamcast was retired.

Let's see, what was my first console? I remember we had something when I was little, but I can't remember what it was. The first one I clearly remember was the PS1. I spent a lot of time playing Crash and Spyro on that thing.

My sister had a PS1 which she never used and I did a little, Medal of Honour was my favourite game, I so didn't even bother with the Spice Girls game. :lol2:

My first own console was my beloved N64, atomic purple. I still have it and regularly play a game or two (mostly just OoT though). However, before that I did have some fun with my cousin's master system, which I own today.

An the N64 so much fun they were I still like to play OoT and Rogue Squadron from time to time. Thought I do really like Mario Kart 64 and Mario Party for family fun. :)

OMG!!! In all these years, you are the only other person I have met that owned one. Was a great little machine.......till my mate broke mine:(

Actually my first machine was an original Japanese Imported Mega Drive. Was great as I could buy all the Jap imported games which were dirt cheap in those days.

You may feel old, but I feel rather silly because my first system was a gamecube. Before that it was just pc gaming for me, and very little at that. A friend gave me their gamecube on a move and it pretty well got me and the rest of my family hooked on console gaming.:D

My first PC was a first-generation Pentium. Loong nights with FIFA 99 and Grand Prix 2 :)
My first console is a PS3 I bought a few years ago to finally play some unavailable Final Fantasy games. And Force Unleashed of course :D

First console I ever played on, well, 'console' was Commodore 64.

First I've owned was the original big grey Playstation. Still have it and all my games for it, although its a little worse for wear these days, on games with multiple disks, you can't change it when prompted, it just locks up.

Thank Sony for PS1 Classics on PSN, can play them all on my PS3/PSP :)

No, because currently I live in Lyon and my PS3 is in Budapest for six more months :(
