• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.

You scored as Marines.

Semper Fi. You are a true Marine. You are the nation's most devastating fighting force, barring Special Forces. But your place was not easy to get. You endured the harshest basic training of any Armed Force to get where you are, and your reward is the respect and admiration of everyone else (except maybe the Air Force, who may view you as just a dumb grunt. Perhaps it's true, but you just want to fight).

Air Force 61%
Army 57%
Coast Guard 25%

Cross into the blue, soldier, because you belong in the U.S. Air Force. With technology that is years ahead of anyone else, your service has reigned supreme and undefeated in the skies since the late 60s. But you tend to be looked down upon by other branches as elitist and even a little cowardly.

Accerlerate your life with the U.S. Navy. Not only will you find the most advanced ships in the world in the Navy, but probably the most diverse way of life in all of the Armed Forces. You could visit foreign ports, work on naval fighters, or even spend your term undersea in one the nation's numerous submarines.

Hay I just noticed that they listed the US Coast Guard in the list as a Branch of the Military, They are only DOD in a time of war other than that they are Just shore police.

ROFL...

1104807701Army Logo.jpg

You're an Army of One, and your strength does not just lie in technology. You don't see the point of those fancy planes and lumbering ships; all you want is your rifle and the company of your fellow Army troopers.

Sorry, but if I was Army, I'd be part of a sniper team, or a squad designated marksman...

 Interesting is, that the US Army wants to field this Land Warrior program, which gives the usual soldier A LOT of tech!

Coast Guard is the 5th branch. They are at war 24/7. After all, they are the one responsible for the protection of the shores. Officially they are a branch. Just no one ever thinks of them.

I once thought about joining the Coast Guard... Never really gave it serious thought again though since I haven't been near any CG stations...

I've not been in any branch of the military, but my father was in the Navy during Vietnam. My grandfather on my dad's side was in the army, something with tanks in World War II, German theatre - never got to hear many stories about that since he died in '94 when I was 12. My grandfather on my mom's side was in the army in World War II, Pacific theatre, as a medic. None of them were injured in service luckily.
