• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.

Would rather be flyin' a Starfury though. :D

I would agree there, I love that fighter and I would have to say it's the best fighter in all sci-fi in my opinion. :)

B-Wing for the rebs lol just the idea of seeing the fighter rotate around you is funny but i realy loved the idea of the 'Uglies' lol so darn funny and completely a waste of time... oh and A-wing is defenantly my second faverite reb fighter.

Yeah I really like the B-Wing, not a real common ship in any of the Star Wars games. It's unusual and different but would I fly one if they were real and given a chance? I would say no.

I'm a fan of the ARC-170 fighter. Looks really cool as well.

I do really like the ARC-170, I think more than the X-Wing herself. Hey she's got a back gunner can't go wrong there. Why doesn't the Rebels fly them? Perhaps because the most logical reason, they were designed after the original 3 movies. But is it my favourite fighter in Star Wars? No it isn't.

Yup, the Arc 170 is the X-Wing predecessor, just like the Delta-7 Aethersprite is the the A-Wing predecessor. :)

The Delta-7? Hmmm I really do like that design, the arrowhead design gives a feeling of speed and power. Plus can't go wrong with a little droid to repair damage. Hell Jedi were still flying them in Episode 3, though they didn't stand up to the carnage of Order 66.

I would have to admit that the Jedi Starfighter (Delta-7) would have to be my favourite but I can tell you that the Tie Fighter and Naboo Starfighter were close runners up. I love the artistic design of the Naboo Starfighter and the power feel the Tie Fighter gives off, especially the hum from their Twin Ion Engine.

I wonder how many know that TIE stands for Twin Ion Engine? :)

All I can say is
Villian Dance said:
"It can't accelerate worth a wheep and it turns slower than a comet, but if you get in its sights, it can blow you to itty-bitty pieces. It would be embarrassing to have to inform your family you got shot apart by a shuttle, so stay alert."

If you dont what this refers to it is the Lambda Shuttle, got to love them Hyperdrive Large cargo hold as well as a holonet receiver and Big guns and Shields.

If I were part of the Empire, I could choose the TIE fighter :)

If I were part of the Rebellion, I could choose the X-Wing.

And if I should move from one solar system to another, I could choose the Millennium Falcon.
