• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.

Tried for about 6 months to get A2 to run on my 64bit machine and finally got it going, wondering if anyone has a run down of interesting mods and ships over that time? I checked A2files a few times and see Aad is going strong but the site is so messed up I had no patience for it. I'm going to check the downloads here now.

I'd strongly recommend Sigma, however it is a total conversion of Fleet Operations

Just played it, good fun but I'm not sure if I'll revisit it. I need to find my 3dsmax 5 backup before I even think about it.

Sigma? I'll check it out thanks.

I suppose you've already checked out BSG HRM v1.0. kjc733 is currently working up the next version which will allow a player to play as the Cylons and to play with either race being AI Controlled. "He's a sorcerer, that one is!", lol.

I would recommend Chiletrek's *472 replacements, including his recently released Terrashpere. I would certainly recommend FO and Sigma, both are fun to play especially online.

I've released a few models, which you may like. Available in my release section which I am pretty sure you have access to.

It's great to see you're back and getting back into it.
