• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.

Anyone here watching West World on HBO? Just started season 2. The first half of season 1 was slow, but the second half was better. Season 2 starting out great so far. Can't wait to see more. I have seen previews of season 3 already which look awesome, but trying to limit what I see.

I love West World! I don't really think I can say much without spoiling anything, though.

I know what you mean. We can't really talk about anything as it's all so intricately tied.
For me the past vs present events is hard to follow especially with Ed Harris' character until that was finally revealed.

That reminds me - and this is technically a spoiler for season 2 but it wasn't really supposed to be so I recommend you click it:

Season 2 also has the past vs present thing going on, but this one wasn't supposed to be a surprise. Bernard's glasses are the visual cue. If he's wearing the glasses, it's the past. If he's not wearing the glasses, it's the present. This one was intended to be apparent pretty early on, but a lot of the audience missed it. Only Bernard's plot line is split; all others are simultaneous with Bernard's 'past' plot. It's not like season 1 where you have several different arcs spanning completely different time frames.

I finally picked up on this on Ep 2 of season 2. Things started to make sense once I grasped that.

Also, learning that the Hosts have already been in the real world was a shock, but makes sense now too

It was still a little confusing. I just watched EP 1 of season 3. Off to a good start so far
