• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.

It's funny how everything 40k related requires over 100%

Just had my steam copy unlock so I'll be giving this game a play in a little bit.

Anyone else got the game? Thoughts?

I hate you RJB :) We don't get it until the 9th over here :x

My brothers were generous enough to pre-order me a copy on Xbox 360 (I'd prefer PC but they both play Xbox) and pay for it, since I'm broke atm.

I'm looking forward to it :D If it sucks on Xbox 360 I might trade it in and get the PC version xD

I have all four of the Dawn of War I series. Didn't buy DoW2. Love the game. have a few skins I made which are available here. Like the game and play it more than I do almost anything else.

What's your name of Steam RJB, as I am also on it. I got the Star Wars pack a while back as a early Christmas present but haven't been on it a while. I however don't have any other games on Steam. I still need to update my Half Life 2 games on it, just haven't got around to it yet.

9000% ouch, they must expect more than a 100% satisfaction then. :lol2:

I'm part of the MSFC: Sci-fi and Gaming (MSFC) steam group and my user name is RJB / Mallacore.

So far I have put an hour and a half into the game and I'm really liking it. Lots of attention to detail and the combat is nicely broken up with story elements.

I've been keeping an eye on this, but tbh, I just bought Dead Island for €49,99 - so I cant really justify buying another full price release so soon (Dead Island isn't even released yet, like Space Marine, it comes out on the 9th in my region...)

I also bought a license for Project Zomboid - its up to version 0.1.5d (yep - it's alpha so far) and it's from an indie developer - the graphics are sooooo retro it gave me a serious nostalgia kick... You can get it on Desura or from teh Project Zombiod site... You'll have to google to find it though - I'm not breaking the rules and posting a link, no sir!

Its an isometric Zombie survival game (yep - I get the Zombie lore thing big time...) where there is no real story mode - its a total sandbox - you have a town infested with zombies, a few non player characters (who might or might not be hostile) and you just have to survive... No immunity from the virus, no safe house - no weapons to begin with...And no possibility to save the game so far (its a technical demo at the moment...). I love the apsect of the game that you are expected to die - it is the Zombie Apocalypse and no one will survive for ever - you just do the best you can with the time you have...

Ahem... sorry about that - Yeah - i have all the DoW expansions too - just like TF - I still play it every now and then, but not for a while. Great game though!

Oh, and I think -RJB- has me as a friend on Steam, so look me up Maj (I'm JR_dinosaur_JR, or at least I think I am...)

I've been watching this game for some time now, signed up on it's website back in January ~ this is when the game was to be released back in March. Suffice to say, two days time, and I'll be getting my PS3 copy. I played the Demo back on Monday and enjoyed it.

I don't usually play single player / RPG games simply because, once your story is complete, the game becomes useless; there is nothing else to do. Thankfully, with this game, they've got some multiplayer features that they've implemented, so all is good.
