• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.

Lately, I gotten deeply into Dawn of War. As in 'off the deep end' deeply. Maps, Mods, Skins, and making up my own Army schemes. One of them is based on an actual US Army unit I was assigned to back in the Eighties, 6th US Cavalry. Started as a Pennsylvania militia unit raised in 1861 as part of the Army of the Potomac. Later it was Federalized and was an active unit right up until I was discharged from the Army. When I was assigned to it, 6th Cav was the support unit for the Armor School at FT Knox, KY. Later, it became an aviation unit equipped with AH-64 Apaches. Always liked the unit motto very much. Not as martial as some others but very fitting and evoking a firm sense of duty and honor.

"Led by love of country"

Thought this would be a good Imperial Guard unit for DoW and it came out very nicely in game.

EDIT: Whoops! How that last one sneak in? Pay no attention to the minions of the angry bald man.

one vision one purpose, Uncle Thunder! That tank is mighty indeed. Looks like something Rheinmetall would build. ;)

Very good actually. In the process of making up new banners and tweaking a few things. When I am done, I'll send the lot in for others to use. I sent an earlier version via email last week. If I can get the world's fastest uploaders to not post that one, I'll hurry to finish this pack which will have all the current iterations of my regiments. Which includes the Jade Falcons as a Space Marine Chapter. Not that much difference between them and Elementals anyways.

I have the UberPainter Mods installed. The range of standard colors is far greater than stock and the Army Painter shows all of the units. Makes it easier to adjust things this way. All of the UberPainter mods are available over at DoWFiles and there are links to Hangar-8's site which has some killer custom Army schemes that are nearly an exact match for TT and Codex.

Just noticed where you posted you play 'Crons, IK. Niiice! Never have been able to truly master using the undead metal beasties, myself. I prefer IG. A Kasrkin Kill Team backing up a Vendicare Assassin with three Basilisks on call will ruin just about anyone's day. Ta Daaaa!
