• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

    Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

    We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.

Thought those of you who haven't been on the test server might like to see what it looks like on there currently. This will be introduced in the May update, obviously some things may change like actually fixing the mission text in one of the screenshoots from Federation to EMpire.

I had to do a 15GB update to get on, took about 5 hours to do. Thankfully the next update on Tribble will hopefully not be as big.

Some from the closed beta Romulan test.

Some good content there, only one of the missions I noticed was a recycled "Salvage Dispute" mission and another had part of the Sh'mir rescue, but it was only a small part of the mission. The rest of the unique Romulan missions so far seem to be new original missions which is good.

I have played through the Romulan tutorial. I have not had any time to go through any further at this time. I do love how smoothly the the tutorial flows. It flows even better then the Federation tutorial. Makes me really interested in seeing the new KDF tutorial. I will play some more on this weekend and post some of my pics and experiences too. I will not however, play beyond level 10. I want to save some for when it goes live.

I'm at level 16 I think and so far it's pretty good. I like the new Warbirds their new features are pretty cool. However I've noticed the only thing that will be different between choosing Federation or Klingon is the uniform options and where you can go (Qo'Nos, ESD). A new blog today has said that Romulan players won't be able to play with tier 5 ships of the faction they are with, which means whichever faction you side with you get the same endgame content.

There was a rumor I heard that they allowed Tribble access to non-LTS members, but I haven't been able to confirm that.
