The second of the 2009 radio plays available until next week at BBC - BBC Radio 4 Programmes - Afternoon Play, Torchwood, Golden Age .
Very good setting this episode in India with Jack, Gwen and Ianto visiting Torchwood India even though Jack says that he shut it down eighty years ago. Another mystery is that its members including his old flame The Duchess have not aged a day.
Quite a delightful performance by Jasmine Hyde as the Duchess.
It was quite funny when Mr Gissing said that he was 143 years old with Ianto saying to tell Jack because as Gwen says it makes Jack feels a little less special.
Overall a very adequate adventure.
There is a mention to Yeti spheres no doubt a reference to the Yeti in the parent Doctor Who.
