• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

    Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

    We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.

Ohk.... I was hoping to actually release something that does not take a painstaking about of text editing.

I have some low end sound editors. But nothing that has failed me before. And someone help me on tips for making Breen vocals? I should be able to do some audio manipulation but I need some guidance.

I don't know how to get text to show when a vocal is used. I've never heard a Breen use Basic:cry:

I was wondering how to make audio voices for the Breen. Any help?

One of the Dominion mods had breen vocals. Was it Dom Ultimate? Anyway, dont know if that helps, but they were cool

The Breen segment of the Dominion Ultimate mod did indeed have Breen vocals.

Just the sheer effort of programming the 'events.dat' folder to include another voice has always been something I've dreaded. It's so easy to screw up and so tedious after a very short time!

If you can't find decent sound files of Breen voices online (and you probably can't-- there are perilously few good Trek sound effects sites out there anymore), maybe you can find the teacher from Charlie Brown! Close enough! :lol:

There are only 3 or 4 Breen tracks. FO has several but of course their material is not for use outside their mod. I was left no real option but to make some from scratch.
