• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.

I don't know much about The Wire but it has gotten my attention due to an interview with Whoniverse writer Gareth Roberts in Doctor Who Magazine issue 407. He says that he has a very good chat with Doctor Who/Sarah Jane Adventures star Lis Sladen mainly about The Wire which he says they are both obsessed about. He also said that he thinks that there should be a SJA/The Wire crossover saying that Mr Smith (the supercomputer in SJA)would certainly be a boon to the Wire team.

To Australian viewers:
9 will begin showing the fifth and final season on 9 from Tuesday July 7 11:45pm. However if you are like me and have not seen The Wire before there is an opportunity to see the series from the beginning on ABC2:
ABC2 coming soon: The Wire, The Beast more :TV Tonight

The start date on ABC2 is yet to be announced.

The Buys:
Season 1, Episode 3.
D'Angelo tries to teach a couple of his friends to play chess although the art of playing chess is not something they will ever going to appreciate.
Seems appropriate since the tagline for this episode is a quote from D'Angelo himself, "The king stay the king."

Old Cases:
Season 1, Episode 4.
Remarkable when that grandmother was unfazed when Herc and Carver barge into her place. Obviously something she has gotten used to.
Mesmerising when McNulty and his fellow cops were examining the crime scene where a woman was murdered.

Bizarre that Bunk burned his clothes at a woman's house.
