1. Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.

And capping off the Star Wars trailers is Battlefront 2.

Rebels is pretty good, but you may need to watch The Clone Wars first to understand everything.

You can stream Rebels on Disney XP website or app as long as you have service with a partnering cable/satellite provider. I don't know how far back you can go. Of course in this age of the internet, I am certain there is someplace out there you can watch it.

It gets worse. My external drive insists i haven't uploaded anything since 2013 - which i know i have, but it's not there. So no ms3d licence, and no Photoshop installer. Great start to my time off :cry2:

So having first reformatted the hdd and then replacing it thus wiping 4 years of data, the geniuses have decided there's nowt wrong with the hdd and it's actually a fried motherboard. The saga continues...

I just noticed a fun bit in Take Me Out to the Holosuite that I never noticed before. Early on, O'Brien can't remember which base is first. After Sisko gets ejected and O'Brien takes over, as he's assigning people to bases, he properly assigns Bashir to second, but Quark and Leeta are on 'right' and 'left'.

I wonder why it is that very few A2 mods have ships classified as capital ships such that their filenames would be something like f_capital or r_capital, but many of them use the classification of dreadnought.

I've got a question about the 2009 Star Trek movie.

I've heard of the concept of a supernova that can cause chain reactions in other stars before from other fictional sources, but I'm not sure if I ever heard of this idea from non-fiction sources. Does anyone know if there was any scientific theory regarding the idea of a chain-reaction supernova?

Do you mean travel through the gate or establish it? I'm fairly certain they do the former in A2

I've seen fleets travel through gates quite a bit when playing A2. Are they using the transwarp gate weapon at all?

Instant Action in A2 is what I play, and they travel through the gate all the time.

Your question asked about both A1 and A2, which is why I thought A2 was relevant

Since an ST: Armada II question was already ask I though I might throw out another. I was curious if anyone knew of the version of the Reman thaleron special weapon that would only kill the crew. I can't seen to find it on nexus mods, or AFiles archive.

I think it was on armadafleetcommand (way back around 02-06), can't seem to find it there either the image for the preview file was the Reman warbird firing on stock federation construction ship. But I'm 100% it was just the weapon and it wasn't a wave but beam.

I don't remember this particular file, but it shouldn't be too difficult to make. Take the Shadow's psyonic blast and bump the crew killed percentage up to 100% in the ordnance file, and it should get you something with the same effect. Assuming I'm remembering correctly, of course.
