• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.

Hello, Armada modders and community. I am Trek/armada fan from Croatia. Last time i was here 2 years ago, i was under nick "CroatianFanofArmada", but my life went in chaos then and i lost many data from that period, including many passwords(mail among them). Recently, i finished again playing "Star Trek Armada 1: The Millenium Project" and i enjoyed it immensely. So, having some spare time, i decided to play with Armada 2 again. I find A2 single player campaigns to be very tiresome, definitely not a worthy successor to Armada 1 story and atmosphere. Still, Armada 2 has great modding potential, and i like playing with modding- i am not expert, i have no clue about making my own textures, odf, sod files etc, but i like playing with balancing, rescaling existing mods of many talented modders, AIP experimenting and stuff so i can make my own fun for skirmishes. I never made any mod for publishing it online, i am not good enough for that, but i like Trek and starship battles so i was able to have fun with simple file tinkering on many existing mods. I was very sad to hear that legendary Aad passed away, i will always remember that back in 2011., Aad sent me his missing Borg cruise3 file from that old A2 fan site that is now defunct, he sent it just a few hours after sending him mail that one odf file is missing, that was amazing, even some college professors don't answer that fast. With Aad's bcruiser 3 file, i rescaled it and made a fighter class for Borg(Dan1025 inspired me with his Peregrine fighter mod from DS9). Even though Armada world is something i do from time to time, i am glad that Armada modding world is thriving and i am sure Aad would be happy with that too! Well, so much from me, i am just an old member and occassional amateur modder, i will try to follow work of other talented modders as much as i can.

Tnx for taking me back and live long and prosper!
