Terror Attack in glasgow

Ok , now im ( insert word , very bloody annoyed to begin with ) !

2 Asian men have tryed to bomb Glasgow Airport , they got a 4 wheeler ( SUV ) and rammed it into Terminal 1 , filled with Men, Women and Children .
They then set the car alight with petrol ( or gas ) cans still inside , Police where attacked when investigating but the pair where nicked , 1 of them has massive burns on him ( 90% of his body , gotta hurt ! ) and the other is in a nice cold cell

It appears that it was a unplanned attack , but its early , COBRA was meeting today also to discuss this . Yesterday a bomb was found in centeral london by a normal cop who disarmed it ( untrained cop , congrats to him , sayed it was a remote bomb ment to be set off by phone , prob a mobile attached to it , quick thinking ) and now they hit my city . im P**sed off at these dishonorable pigs , Bombing public places has NO Justice and they have just highened security .

Im guessing that these are gordons "welcome" persents from them , he has only been PM for a few days and there are already bombs being planted . However there are somethings ive heard on the news , ill post em below

Some say they heard what sounded like gas inside the car ( the sound made if you throw a full deorderant can into a bomfire )
Cops where able to get the other 2 flameable tanks out of the burning car before the fire got to them
Gorden Brown ( PM ) has had 2 COBRA meetings today , but not to sure if so
The bombers where determined as hell , even the guy that was on fire was fighting the cops !

I am truly sorry to hear of this. It's just plain sick that people... correction, slime-balls would use such cowardly tactics. What on earth do they hope to gain??? I too can't stand the thought of cowards like this. I am glad that you and your kin are in good health.

I am sorry to hear about this sad turn of events. These kind of cowardly attacks are the reason why our governments strike at the terrorist before they can strike anyone. And yet people put down our governments for trying to stop them. Here is to the hope that the powers that be can stop these kind of cowardly attacks in the future.

Ugg..... This sucks. I think the news siad the SUV just missed the main terminal with all the people. And they also said one of the men was taken down by.....people on the street. Nice to see everyone fighting back.

It's hard to wrap our minds aorund why because they use an irrational thought process where as we use a rational one. I hate this.....I really hope no one is hurt.

Ok , got an update for u

The burning terrorist was put out by an off duty cop
The terrorists got a kicking , the cops where trying to subdue them and some others desided to help out
Terrorists where massive , some say 6ft tall and wouldnt go down , until the cops got some help
The guy on fire tryed to get to the boot of the car , but was stopped before he could get it open
They had Petrol Bombs ( Cocktails in otherwords )
The car had petrol and gas inside
The new alert means troops will be stationed at all airports for now

News say no one has been killed but some are injured ( the off duty cop has burns , a woman has a leg injury ect ) , and the terrorists are now gonna have 1 hell of a time in jail , im sure every1 knows what happens to guys like this in jail

I am personally pleased to hear that no cops or bystanders did get killed in this attack.

Well, if your prisons are anything like the ones here in the States, then they will end up being "Bubba's girlfriend". Bubba is the general description of the 400 pound 7 to 8 foot tall hairy fat mean guy with a skull as dense as titanium. The thought of that happening to those arses makes me believe in the justice system, and that it does sometime work the way it should.

Koodoos to those that helped the cops. If I lived there, I'd buy those people a round at the locale pub.

Terrorists where medics , the passenger is from Iraq
Cops have arrested 5 ppl in armed raids including arresting a doctor on the highway , they want a 6th guy but he has done a runner , wont last long
Airports have deployed sandbags and diggers infront incase any more wise c**ts try it again

These guys are nuts , they train to save lifes but instead they blow emselfs up ? , talk about a few years wasted and plenty more are "screwed"

just hope this chaos is sorted soon , im going off on holiday in a few months from glasgow and i cant be arsed to sit outside for the plane ( there will be hell to pay if i do )

2 more suspects have been nicked

ALL ppl who have been arrested so far are from the middle east

2 of them are doctors ( the father of 1 of em sayed the cops have the wrong man , now where have i heard that 1 before )

The car's used in the london bombs where from glasgow , seems they got em up here , took em down there and where gonna blow em up , they couldnt get that done tho

The mobile phones found near the bombs have had a ton of info on them , cops hit the jackpot with that

Wow...just wow...I am amazed on how seriously screwed up some people can be out there. I agree with everyone else; I am very glad to hear that no civilians or police officers were seriously hurt or killed.

yeah , i can understand ppl who have basic jobs ect gettin drawn in but doctors ? , they spent years at medical school and plenty of time practicing in hospitals , why the hell would you blow yourself up after all that ?!!

some things i dont understand about this nether , but im still saying these idiots couldnt have been trained , i mean 3 bombs , only 1 went off and that didnt kill and got the 2 terrorists caught ! . Soz but it appears there where 2 bombs in london , i only knew of the 1 til they went over it on the news . trained guys ( if you call that training ) would have killed , these idiots got busted and no 1 killed , apart from the paint in terminal 1

I agree that these men had to be morons to try to plan such an attack. There is something you should remember though. The perfect crime or the perfect murder is a pure accident. It can not be planned. That being true. Even if the smartest person on the face of the Earth planned these attacks. There is always a few "X" factors that can not be planned for. Ranging from weather, freak accidents, and even peoples reactions. Lets face it. 6 years ago, if a terrorist wanted to scare someone. It was alot easier. Now days. If you are a terrorist and the group around you finds out. They are likely to kill you before you can hurt them. I would think that the failures of the terrorist was inpart b/c the everyday person is more alert than we used to be and more willing to act to protect themselves and others than before.

I think this is a testiment to all the security of the UK and the civilians vigiliance that both the London, and glasgow attacks this year failed and cause no harm, and we have no idea how many attacks have already been stopped by the intelligence services.

True. The UK has had to deal with more terrorism on thier own soil a lot longer than most of the world. It was a great job by law enforcement officers and civilians to keep these terrorist from completing their plan.
