• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

    Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

    We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.

Hello, it's been a while since I last updated mod status, well thing is i had hdd failure(non repairable one), or better to say few of those. So all my TA files are lost,new mod files i've been working on, modeling programs and so on.
So after some thinking i decided to cancel mod. It would be to time consuming for me to try to recreate all files that are lost so this is best way to go, still pre-release is down-loadable on this server.

I'll keep it on the server for as long as I have it Yacuzza. :) It was a fun mod the few times I was able to play it, sadly anything not running the A2 Fleet Ops 1.2.5 patch doesn't work on my machine very often.

This is terrible news, however I can fully understand your position being in a similar one myself. Tactical Assault was an outstanding mod and I do hope another project will peak your interest down the road.

You mind if I download the pre-release and upload it to MSFC as well Yacuzza?

Terrible news, and a big loss. losing a hard drives worth of data always sucks.

Losing the whole mod is a huge blow, but at least the pre-release is available.

The new gui's you'd done were exceptionally amazing especially for the Borg - any chance you'll be redoing those and making available to the community?
Are they in the pre-release?

Hard drive failure always sucks. My dad is a KJ and the drive that he had the vast majority of his karaoke library on died a few months ago. It took forever to get it back to what it was.

Is everything lost? You might be able to rebuild the UIs at least from the screen shots. Just cut them out and redo the sprite and other UI files.

Either way, that sucks to have lost all that work.
