I'd like to purchase but I've already planned to do so at Christmastime. It is a good deal if one looks at all the bennies a Lifetime Membership offers.

I was seriously considering this but I have discovered after talking to support that lvl 50 characters do not get their bank and inventory slots expanded to what gold members have. This has instantly made this not worth the money and I feel ripped off by Cryptic again so I will not be spending money to take up this offer.

That just does not sound right. Why wouldn't a level 50 character get the slots instantly given when upgrading to gold status? I would like to thing maybe that support tech just doesn't know what he/she is talking about. If this is indeed the case, It gives people less reason to upgrade.

Well I did contact the support outside the game through the perfect world site and I do know this is the case as people on the forums who have upgraded have said this. The only thing I can see where this is worth it is the 400CP a month which you could use to open the slots on the maxed out characters that a player wants, however this shouldn't have to be the case, it should be given to them automatically like any lower level character.

Well Majestic is now a lifetime subscriber, I gave him the money despite his protests of him not thinking it was worth it.
Despite Cryptics response to Maj's ticket about his maxed out characters not being able to get increased inventory/bank size this has happened on the maxed out characters so perhaps they have been misinforming people or they have recently fixed that issue to make people want to get the lifetime subscription, either way Maj is a very happy man right now!

For those of you who buy c-points, they'll be gone soon replaced with Zen however while the prices in the c-store will look as if they have gone up thay haven't because remember the conversion rate is 80 C-Points to 100 Zen.

This is a move by PWE and so Cryptic has to go along with it like they did when Atari brought out Atari Tokens. All c-points will be converted including existing ones in your account and the gold members monthly stipend of 400CP will be converted to 500 Zen.

Hello all. Season 6: Under Siege is just around the corner. Season 6 includes the fleet starbases and the fleet advancement system. Also are a few new missions. There will be the No Win Scenario, Colony Invasion Event, and the Tholian Invasion Zone. The only thing I was personally able to test was the Tholian Invasion zone and I have had a blast with it. Here are some screenshots.

Those sneaky Tholians brought a ship from the mirror universe.

I got the first shot. The CMR200 is quite effective.

The Tholian fights back.

Now you have a use for it. :D It's quite effective against the Tholians, SFF and I went toe to toe with them for a few hours this afternoon (my time). A lot of fun and would've been even more fun with a couple more players.

Vesta Class Officially Coming to STO!

That's right. Love it or hate it, the Vesta is officially coming to STO. We have known for a while it was in the works but, the official release is now on the STO website. Take a look at it and discuss if you like. Personally what they did with the Vesta is what they should have done with the Odyssey.

Very disappointed in this actually. Another Odyssey pack, but no KDF equivalent. I was hoping the Vesta was a one off ship, like most the others. But considering I have lost all interest in the game I guess it doesn't matter. Only KDF development will probably bring me back within the next 6-12 months.

Just goes to show Cryptic has not disappointed me in the way they operate, another 5,000 ship pack yet no new missions to play with them on.

Yeah it's a joke, all this stuff you need to use third party programs to get. I have no respect left for Cryptic.

It also stinks it is only a lutenant rank ship. I want the ability to retrofit any ship to VA rank. I wanna use the akira, the miranda, and any of the early rank ships as viable combat ships while at VA rank...

Actually it says in the link that it's also a VA level ship. Not the best one out there but still has VA stats on the Retrofit.

Yes the Steamrunner, I recommend you take another look on the link to doubt check that I am indeed right before committing money. Though I am pretty certain that is what it said in the long winded description. I am not getting it, for a number of reason, firstly as I don't play the game much anymore and secondly out of principle, it should be in the c-store. I have like 4k worth of Zen. (2k in Zen, and 2k in dilithium).

It is both a lt and va ship. I admit I did buy it as a semantics of economics. It is on sale for 10 dollars. If it were to be in the C-store (which i imagine it will eventually), the va one would be 20-25 dollars. This way I am getting two for the price of a half. Lol I know I wouldnt have to spend real money but, I get so little time to play, it will take forever for me to get the dil needed.

I will post pics and tell what I think of it at another time.

Q is bringing his Winter Wonderland back to the STO universe. He has even improved upon this event. He added new activities and items to enjoy. All of the old activities and items are returning including the Nanopulse Lirpa and Bat'leth. The only item not returning is the Jem'hadar attack ship. In it's place will be the Breen Chel Grett Cruiser. Tired of the chance boxes? No problem. You can obtain these ships 100% FREE with just a little bit of dedication. How? Read about it here. Hope to see you online!

Also, read about the activities to enjoy here.

Thanks for the heads up, looks like I need to get STO back into my install. That Breen ship looks cool and to get it for free just by doing an event once a day for 25 days isn't bad. I am sure I can spare an hour a day to do this, even if it's just to get the ship to use later.

I hope it's not a scheduled even but one that a player can do when they are no rather than having to get on at a particular time.
