Yes, the teamspeak info was included in the in game mail. I am not at home at the moment to retrieve it for you but, as soon as I am able to, I will post it here.

We are merging with a well established fleet. Nova Core is currently working on Tier 5 base and their Embassy is complete. They are FAR ahead of us in development. Any fleet credits you earned with MSFC will be going with you. We will be keeping the MSFC starbase as several of us have more alts than Nova Core allows at one time. We are not abandoning it, however, production will slow down even more than it already is.

But as SFF said, the MSFC Taskforce will be left maintained by a skeleton crew and put on reserve status.

You are welcome to stay in the MSFC Taskforce if you wish, however it's not actively being developed. Nova Core, the fleet we merged with has a tier 4 almost tier 5 fleet and so a lot of provisions and stuff are available there which MSFC Taskforce doesn't have atm due to being low tier. However it is a lot easier to earn fleet credits in MSFC Taskforce, so members can use the MSFC Taskforce to gain the credits then go to Nova Core and help starting to develop that fleet further.

As for our KDF fleet it has become the new official Nova Core KDF fleet and so no need to jump fleets. We have however renamed it, changed some things like ranks etc, to work better using the Nova Core structure as a template.

As part of our merger, Nova Core and Imperial Kore Members have a new channel, which can be joined by both factions. This allows for better community interaction and also gives us an advantage when organising STF's, PvP and the like.

All members are strongly encouraged to join the new channel: C.O.R.E.

The . at the end is included and please use all CAPS. The channel is free to join, you don't need an invite.

There has also been a KDF channel added to Nova Core Teamspeak and sits right underneath the "Fed Fleet" Channel.

Also we will be starting to promote members in about a week. Please indicate your prefered position in-game. The options are:

PvE - Player vs Environment
PvP - Casual Player vs Player
PvP Premade - For the serious Player vs Player

Once you gain one of these promotions you'll be able to invite friends to the fleet. All members however will go through a 2 week probation period.

Our first two ranks are for new members in probation and non-contributing members who either don't contribute to fleet projects or participate in the fleet, like playing with other members, helping new members out, STF's. PvP etc.

thats true words, the whole new season and its changes involved have driven me of from playing STO.
I play now STW-The Old Republic, its harder to get new equipment there and the spacefights are like a shooter on a rail. its even bit unfair in some cases for me but i like to play it more now, than to play STO.

Here is some more news for the Fleets we created.

Nova Core, the large fleet we had allied with, has shut down and they have kicked everyone out. All of my characters have been moved into the fleet we created which I have named 2nd Delta Dragoons. I believe I am the only active player now in that fleet and I am working to clean up the roster.

Imperial Kore Alliance, our KDF fleet, has a larger roster though not very active. This is actually fine by me as I am a casual player too. I have two members now that are helping to keep projects slotted. As IKA was serving as the official KDF fleet of Nova Core, many of the players came through Nova. As Nova no longer exists, we are no longer affiliated with them. I sent out a fleet mail letting them know that if they wanted to stay, they are welcome to or they may leave.

Yeah I haven't been on in ages, mainly due to the internet connect here isn't very good. Something that I think I'll have to live with.

The mail they sent out said they felt the members were being selfish. They were logging in just long enough to run dailies and then log out. A real shame to as I had just got back into playing my main Fed character again. I was working his way up to 60. I have been putting a lot of OT in at work so my play time has been extremely limited. Oh well.

About members being selfish that happens a lot in fleets. Isn't a reason to close a fleet down if you ask me. Not that they did as me.

I guess it comes down to poor fleet management. I didn't like how they started treating me. and the elitism that the fleet leaders had. It was the reason I left their Federation fleet and also decided I wanted nothing to do with them as individuals either.

I don't know when I'll get back into it regularly. I want too, but right now isn't the time. Might be once I get my own place again and can get the internet speed I want. But I'll be happy to stay might even give the Fed a whirl again down the line.

It's a shame but happens a lot with fleets. A few get the attitude of they should be telling everyone what to do, that they are more important than others. Many websites do this as well and it's totally the wrong way to run a volunteer organisation.

The Fed fleet im part of is admittedly very casual. great bunch though. obviously Jacenius and Shayera are part of the MSFC fleet which is cool. nothing wrong with casual.
