My new Connie class cruiser, USS Jean Lafitte NCC-93715. Depending on whom you speak with, he was either a pirate or a very useful ally. His gun crews provided the artillery for Andrew Jackson's army at the Battle of New Orleans in 1815. The governor of what was then Spanish West Florida had an order posted to shoot him on sight and bring his body to Pensacola for a considerable reward. There are all sorts of tales about his buried treasures along the Gulf Coast.

My engineer this time around has a stock Constitution, like he had a stock Miranda and my science officer has a stock Centaur and is about to buy her first science vessel.

Cruisers do have slow turning rates, I think they could've done so much better with the Odyssey in terms of performance but they messed it up and it's actually not that good, many players prefer the Sovereign and Galaxy over her.

Put it in the pm, but i couldn't find you. Perhaps it's me being clumsy but i tried to get it working again shortly before today's maintenance and it shut down right before me.

B.t.w do you folks know to what weapons the undine are especially vulnerable?

Started a klingon char a few days ago. Nice gameplay, but i hate the feklir with the chroniton torpedoes.

Also noticed i never took ds9 from the dominion as starfleet so I'm going to rectify that in the next few days.

A global fleet chat channel now live for MSFC. This chat channel is intended to allow fleet members to stay in contact when playing as a non fleet character. Many of us have a Klingon character, multiple accounts, or alt characters that are not in the fleet. Adding this channel to your chat options will allow communication without resorting to private messages or mail.

To add the channel, click on the icon nest to the chat. select "Chat Settings". Then select the "Channels" tab and type in MSFC then click join. Any member on this website that plays but are not a member of the fleet are also welcomed to join the MSFC chat channel.

Attention all, the MSFC Fleets Teamspek server is officially up and running. If you do not have teamspeak, go to the Teamspeak website and download/install the TeamSpeak 3 Client for your operating system. You can get the connection details from your in game mail. Again, we are limited to 32 users at this time which is adequate for our small fleet. With that in mind, please do not give out. The server information to anyone. Only the fleet leaders (myself, Majestic, and Katala) can give out the server i fo. So get your headsets ready and come join in on the fun. We may soon start organizing fleet events and this will indeed help communicate.

Hello all. Things have really slowed down online. There are many fleet members that are not logging in for whatever reason. Even Kat, Maj, and I are not logging in as often. Due to this, all fleet projects will be suspended beyond the currently active and queued ones. Once these projects are done, we will not starting any new ones for some time. This will be to allow our members to recoup their supplies.

If any member would like to see anything in particular done within the fleet, please let us know. You can either post your ideas here or send an in game mail to Kat, Maj, or myself. I would like to see some feedback from our members as to the direction of the fleet. We are all part of it and it is not our wish to be dictatorial in running it. So please, if you have any ideas about anything..events, contests, socials...please let us know.

Also remember we do run a KDF sister fleet as well. If anyone wishes to donate to that fleet you're more than welcome to. Currently only SciFiFan, Katala and I have been donating. While most other fleet members have either taken a break from the fleet projects or from the game as a whole, you have not only continued on the projects that were already running but, have also requested additional projects. The fleet is at level 4 due in large part to your dedication. In recognition to your hard work, you have been promoted to the fleet rank of Lieutenant. Your contributions reflect greatly on your ship, the MSFC Fleet, and the United Federation of Planets. Congratulations!

It's nice that the science is finally going to get a decent ship, though the whole 5,000 pack thing is a joke. Was hoping for one ship, not three. I hope the KDF will get something on par with this now, they are drastically going without and their lack of development is what caused me to leave the game.

Hello MSFC fleet members. I just wanted to stop in and let yall know that Embassy projects are now in progress for the Federation fleet. I have yet to see if we even have the ability to start the embassy on the KDF fleet. Also, I am thinking of restructuring the fleet ranks. I will draw up a proposal and submit it to Majestic and Katala for review and approval. If it is approved, many of you may find you have a different rank. This does not mean necessarily that you have been demoted or promoted. It will just be a change brought on by the rank restructuring.
