No worries. It is nothing on your end or with your character. This sort of thing happened with Kat and I too. With the release of the Featured Series, you have way too many people trying to log on and do the missioins. The servers can not handle the strain that the players put on it. The one improvement between this series and the last is that last time, the server actually crashed....several times. This time, it just booted players. I know it is fustrating. What I did to avoid it last time was to wait til Tuesday or Wednesday to play through the missions.

Oh, and, chances are, it will happen again next week.

It happened to Maj and I numerous times as well when entering a mission together or at random intervals when doing nothing other than walking (or running rather) through ESD to get somewhere, was rather annoying :x

It's official, John th'Majest is now a Rear Admiral Upper Half (lvl 45). :excited:

Actually better make that Vice Admiral! Well done, Congratulations! :worship:

Why thank you. I also have a new ship, an Odyssey class called the USS Midway. Seemed only fitting for John th'Majest.

I also set it up with new equipment so I can swap and change between the Damocles and Midway as the mission or team requires.

Mhhh.... everyone is getting ahead of me.

I used to be one of the first to achieve Captain. And now I am likely gonna be the last to be even a Rear Admiral....
So this is a race then? I like racing, but I am having so much fun with this game, I think I'll not bother with trying to achieve anything before everyone else. I fully intend to stick my nose into every single nook, cranny, and crawlspace the Devs put into the game. BTW, by custom and tradition, the commanding officer of any ship, regardless of rank, is addressed as "Captain". So we're not really ahead of you at all and you're not lagging behind anyone. From a certain point view, lol.

Thanks, I am now 46, four more levels and I will start a new character, engineer this time I think. :)

41 or 42 now. Finally got the duty officers figured out (took me a while).
Busy with the storyline around DS9.

Going for 45 so i can try that Special Taskforce which combats the borg.

Not sure which my next character will be. For my first i made an error in judgment going engineer which focused on Escort (combat oriented) vessels.

Now first order is to distribute some of the things in storage so i have room to do crafting/R-D

Make sure you have plenty of weapons and a frequency remodulator handy... Those borg adapt pretty quick, we spent over 30mins doing one of those taskforce missions with the borg and didnt even get through a quarter of the mission with 3 other people

Apparently it is a race.. No idea where that idea came from though, Maj and I gained Captain within a week but as I've said before, it was because we would not have alot of time to do so once college started... I'm happy to keep lingering at 47 for as long as I am there, I am having tonnes of fun too just playing missions, except for those that drive me nuts and take forever to finish when you have to constantly go backwards and forwards.. like the one at Bajor... hehe that really annoyed the bugeebers out of me!

It is indeed not a race. While I want to get my engineering officer up a little so I can get a Galaxy, I don't want them to be an Admiral anytime soon. As it can be a real pain to keep in sync with lower level players as the game likes to really mess up the levels of enemies, sometimes even when you are matching a lower players, the enemies will come at you at Admiral level and you have to stop matching the other members in the team just to survive and defeat them.

This game is far too much fun to simply take the quickest path to the highest rank. Because I had to start over I am having to redo missions which I raced thru the last time. I discovered I missed quite a lot at P'Jem the first time I went there.

I've noticed some people rush through the missions and dont really pay attention to what is actually going on, I like to read every little thing that comes up so I know the storyline.. unless of course I'm redoing the mission to help someone else then I'll skim through it, The Romulan missions are just getting interesting which is a shame because we only have a few missions left in the series :x

If you go through some of the missions, there are accolades you can get if you have at least one of each profession.

I would like to have a friendship between the MSFC Fleet and my own, the Graviton Clerus.
Add me ingame, my handle is @EpsilonIndi if you need help in any quest or some advice how to equip your ship im there to help.
I have played all 3 character types to max level and got them some nice gear, so I know how to beat this game

You mentioned having a Master crafter as part of the fleet, so I deposited all of my science samples in the Fleet bank. I had quite a lot and right now I'd like to spend my time exploring everything.
EDIT: My new character has the same name as my old one And I guess this is me asking nicely for a new Fleet invite. Please?

Speaking for myself, i am not racing. Just have an awful lot of spare time to play.

I usually use a first char as a learning char. Perhaps on my 2nd char I'll go nuts exploring.

I understand Andre. I've never been one to try and "beat" an MMO. They are far too large and there is far to much content usually to try and get done with the entire game at one sitting. Spare time being utilized for an extended play session is a good idea. I have to limit myself to about two hours of STO per day. This is usually enough to fully complete one episode or catch up on all the housekeeping an MMO requires. Still haven't finished all of the Tutorials and would like very much to do so before making LT CDR.

I wish I had enough free tome to blast through this game, but I am preferring to take it slow any change I get.

I made Cmd. a couple days ago, but havent had time to play with my new ship, so no pics yet. Here is instead a picture of my favorite pistol( mkIV unfortunately) and some random shot of my saber again.

A couple of days ago I started my engineer and today my science officer. Kat and I plan to work on these characters together. We plan to set each one up differently to work well in a team. John th'Majest will be my crafter and heavy hitter, Kandro Inganor my tank, engineer and Mr fix-it and Isria Atol my science officer and buffer/healer.

Hm, thought I did reply. I did see you on my friends list after all. I'll check again later. Is there a place where I go to check this?

I am also waiting on a friend response. Look to the right of your minimap. You should see an icon that looks like a group of people. Click it and it will open a menu. Click on the Friends tab and you will see the invites.

There has been alot of maintenance lately and it is probably due to all the bugs & glitches that have been occurring..

My new Connie class cruiser, USS Jean Lafitte NCC-93715. Depending on whom you speak with, he was either a pirate or a very useful ally. His gun crews provided the artillery for Andrew Jackson's army at the Battle of New Orleans in 1815. The governor of what was then Spanish West Florida had an order posted to shoot him on sight and bring his body to Pensacola for a considerable reward. There are all sorts of tales about his buried treasures along the Gulf Coast.

Very nice! My latest ships have the namesake of famous musicans. My Saber was the USS Joplin(would change to scott joplin if it didn't cost so much to change) and my akira/steamrunner is the USS Chopin. When I get a defiant I am considering USS [Randy] Newman.:D

We should arrange a private arena! I'd like to see how my Klingon Crew measures up to Adm_Zaxxon's Federation Crew.
