In other words its the fastest family min van in the galaxy now lol

Quite a mini van indeed. We all need one of those.

Yeah, but the dish was likely replaced almost immediately after ROTJ, which was a while before any kids he may have had could pilot it..

That is a good point. :D

Loved the new shots! I have a feeling that the Falcon was a physical model enhanced with CGI. :)

Well from what I heard they were using all physical models in the new Star Wars. They wanted it too look more like the original trilogy.

When the Falcon appeared and that John Williams music swelled...it was as if a million voices cried out in rejoicing... :)

I'm amazed that Mark Hamill can still sound like Luke Skywalker.

So far appears free of all the over saturation of CGI that were episodes 1-3
And what CGI is there has a much more realistic style rather than the over-saturated colors and iffy reflections that were all over the prequels.

On that note, is Chewie a suit again?

Also, Kylo Ren's mask looks a lot like Revan's.

It's going to be awesome I think. I think the end of the year is going to be a great time. Battlefront 3 trailer looks fantastic as well. It comes out on November 19, about a month before the movie.

If we can already do that with PS4 and Xbox One hardware, imagine how games released five years from now on those consoles will look.

I saw the Battlefront trailer yesterday as well. It looks pretty amazing. Game graphics and play are just getting crazy these days. Like Cabal said, imagine 5 years from now.

All this Star Wars talk inspired me to reload Empire at War last nite and I'm starting work again on the Galaxy in Chaos mod. With work and summer coming I may not make great strides on it, but at least it'll move forward at a glacial pace. :)

Cool stuff. In a way I feel like I'm cheating myself out of something by watching these little snippets, but I just can't turn away. It's been so long since Return of the Jedi and I want this new one now. :excited:

And one of the articles revealed that Kylo Ren's lightsaber(the crossguard) was a homemade one. Cool stuff!

Also weird to see Bill Weasley (Domnhall Gleeson) as a villain.

I remember reading some speculation when the first trailer came out that it may have been homemade or an antique from the flickering. Nice to have something official.

Also weird to see Bill Weasley (Domnhall Gleeson) as a villain.
That's because Bill Weasley was spectacularly awesome! Mostly in the books, but still.

On a different note I wonder if we'll get to see anything other than X-Wings and Tie's? Has the A or B-Wing had any progressions of their designs?

With the Empire's vast resources why even support the basic Tie anymore and just deploy Interceptors or their equivalent

I heard there is a C and V wing in the movie. Not a big fan of the designs though. I can't remember where I saw them unfortunately.

I don't know Maj the Alpha-3 Nimbus-class V-wing starfighter was one of the few good things that came out of Ep 3

That is what it was label as when I saw it mate. It looked nothing like the V-wing we all grew to love.

I have seen the movie twice already. It does an awesome job continuing the story line. The trailers did an awesome job of making sure you were interested in the film while not giving away a lot of the story line. I definitely enjoyed it. I won't give any spoilers except for the picture added....LOL.

I've seen it twice so far, and I also just finished reading the official novelization today as well. Filled in a few of the minor background info that I was curious about.

Loved it all! Only a year and a halfish until Episode VIII!
