• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

    Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

    We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.

Does anyone remember New Worlds? It was a, to me at least, pretty fun RTS game in the 2280s where you'd play Fed, Klingon or Rom.

The story basically went that Romulans being Romulans did a science without a care in the world and cause some sort of... region of the galaxy to suddenly appear and now you're all fighting over the sector. You'd build your base up, build "tanks" etc and fight

Has anyone ever gotten this to work on windows 10? I recall one upon a time finding a windows 7 patch but I can't seem to find it now.

I never got the chance to play it though I always wanted to.

Have you tried to run it in compatibility mode?

Tried, failed. Crashes when you try to play a game.
One way to make it work used to be editing the game files but that dosn't work in win10. As far as I was able to get it to.

Makes me miss the days of Virtual machines. I dont have an xp or 98 disk.

I got it working in Windows 7 but I don't know about Windows 10. It was pretty buggy anyway.

I've made a compilation of the intro scenes of every mission (no actual gameplay) and turned it into a sort of episode about the whole Tabula Rasa arc. I always thought it was fascinating and would be a neat story concept to revisit.
