• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.

I also started on a Sov variant that has a sensor pod, here is how it progressed... The Sov is P81's SFC Sov, and the Pod is from the USS Luna, both found at Battleclinic. ATM this is a private endeavour but I may seek permission to release it.

And after I shortened the saucer and shrank the stardrive sections...

I am sorry, I have no idea what the random grey boxes are, but what do you all think?

Not bad. The textures appear to have the emissive settings on a light setting. The ship seems to glow.

The boxes are probable from the settings of you video card. Did you use the snapshot function in MS3D? That would cause it. I use screen capture, then paste the image into MS-Paint of PSP8 (then cut out the window of ms3d).

I think you should put the nacelles and the pylons the way the ship was originally designed and keep the pod where it is.

OR

Mirror image them where they are on that model and have four nacelles?

Perhaps I will do a version all of these ways...
