• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.

I need a bit of help from any willing MS3D modelers out there. I'm starting a small new mod for the Enterprise-D, giving her several models as she has been portrayed throughout the ages. I've gotten some comments that the best way to get a good Season 1-2 model would be to, and I quote:
If you really want a nice season 1-2 Galaxy..you need to make the saucer's edge skinnier..and try and widen out the secondary hull a bit..as wall as making the pylons and such skinnier too...but looks good for a start bro!
My only problem is I'm terrible with modeling programs. I've only used them when I convert certain models for my install, and that's not very often.

If any person experienced enough in MS3D could make the suggested changes to the mesh that accompanies this post, I'd be most grateful. :)

Perfect man!!! I did a ship-to-ship comparison, and although it doesn't look like a huge change, the subtleness of it is great. I can almost, 'sense' the differences. Thanks a bunch man!!
