• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.

Lots of people are totally unaware of the huge body of work Sir Patrick has. Most of us know him from Star Trek or X-Men. He is a very much more diverse and talented performer than this. Indeed, his brilliant abilities and skills are seldom shown to real advantage as Jean-Luc or Professor Xavier. Spent some time googling and wiki-ing yesterday when I returned home form work. All I can say is, "Wow!". We are so very lucky to have him around Star Trek.

I remember Stewart from a BBC show that was aired on PBS years before ST:TNG aired. I do agree, he is one talented man. I also seen him perform on other things becides Trek and Xmen since. all I can say is

"All Hail Sir Stewart!"

and

"Make it so."

I think the first time I saw him was as King Leondegrance in Excalibur (1981), then as character Gurney Halleck in 1984 film version of Dune.

I have never seen a performance that Sir Patrick Stewart felled to masterly pull off

He really deserves it. He's one of my favorite actors, a great guy.

Rock on, Patrick Stewart! Make it so!

The one who got knighted before was Ian McKellan, I actually get him confused with Patrick Stewart for some reason.

Aaah, another fine actor. Those two did a great job in X-Men...

That was a well-deserved award for Sir Patrick :) Did you know that he narrated several popular science films?
