• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.

Found out this morning that Serenity has won the Hugo Award for Best Dramatic Presentation: Long Form. It has beaten Batman Begins, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire & Wallace & Gromit in the Curse of the Were-Rabbit .

I'm not surprised.

Batman and Wallace & Gromit were ok. I didn't like The Chronicles of Narnia, and the only reason I watch HP:GoF is to see the entrance of the Durmstrang students, I love the music, and to see Emma Watson running around in tight pants... actually thats the only reason I ever watch HP:poA, too. Please... ignore the ramblings of a hormonal 17 year-old that has no life.

Serenity was an outstanding movie and the Firefly series was also amazing. That it was canceled boggles my mind.

I agree. Firefly was excellent and I really like how Joss Whedon tied everything up with Serenity, so the suits at SciFi couldn't resurrect it after he was gone. Haven't watched the SyFy Channel in years and don't miss the mindless stuff they now think is quality material.

Wonder if anything new will pop up Firefly-wise based on how well things went for Joss in terms of Avengers. Been hearing tell of a lot of speculation in that area recently.
