• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.

"So many of you have been touched by not only the work and art of Don S. Davis, but by the man himself, who always took the time to be with you at the appearances he loved, that it is with a tremendous sense of loss I must share with you that Don passed away from a massive heart attack on Sunday morning, June 29th."

Stargate will never be the same without you. :cry2:

God speed and may you RIP.

all i can say is, oh my god.

I dont remember hearing he was ill, and in teh grand scheme of things he was rather young to die.

Anyone know how this happened?

I cant believe it, he was very talented.

His death was caused by a "Massive Heart Attack". Other than that, there was no reason for his passing. He was actually not ill. He was 65 year old. A service will take place in a couple weeks, in which his ashes will be scattered to the ocean.

He was a great actor and inspiration to many. He will be missed.

He was still fairly young, it's a real shame and here I was hoping to see him on Atlantis at least once or twice. :(

Wow.... I'm stunned. I can only echo the sentiments others have expressed, never heard anything leading up to this, and shocked by it.

He will be sorely missed :(. I always did like Hammond

And once more passes one, whom in his passing are we all diminished.
He was many people, in many places, but none so remember to us as his role in Stargate. He can, and will, be remembered for as long as those who knew and saw him remember him.

Goodbye and fare thee well on the last journey.....
Rest in peace.

I read about this on Gateworld. Didn't even know he had a heart condition to be honest. Was a good actor though, and through that, became a good character in the show.

Wont be the same without him, even though SG-1 isn't on nomore, but with his death, he wont be around to do no more movies either. :(

Henry Gibson Has Passed Away

Henry Gibson who played Marul in the SG-1 episode The Sentinel has passed away.

Henry Gibson's long list of credits also includes the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode Profit and Lace playing Nilva. He also appeared in two episodes of MacGyver (the title character played by original SG-1 lead Richard Dean Anderson), Harry's Will and Deadly Silents.

His well known recent role and ultimately his last was as Judge Clark Brown in 24 episodes of Boston Legal playing off against original Daniel Jackson actor James Spader's Alan Shore.
