• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

    Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

    We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.

As many will be hearing throughout the media today, during the afternoon of Jan. 22 Australian actor Heath Ledger was found dead in his NYC apartment, he was 28 years old.

It is extremely sad to see someone with so much talent and who appeared to have a very long life ahead of him taken so unexpectedly. I was a big fan of Heath's and very much was looking forward to his upcoming interpretation of the Joker in the new Batman movie, The Dark Knight. At this moment there isn't any specifics known about his death only specualtions.

RIP brother, you left us far too soon. :(

First Brad Renfro (25) last week and now Heath, January has certainly seen tragedy for young Hollywood.

:Y OMG!!! :shock: :( :cry: :cry2: I'm sorry for the excssive use of the emoticons, but I liked Ledger as an actor, and from watching the trailers of "The Dark Knight" his portrayal of Joker is the best I've ever seen. Better than Jack's (Sorry Jack) I pray that this doen't change the movie at all. I hope they don't have to change the ending.

At least there is a bright side to all this....The box office will hit the roof in the first week of opening. This will propably be the best opening movie, Box office sales wise, in 10 years.

THis is truely sad. He was a great actor. I enjoyed watching him in many of his movies. I have seen some of his movies. Of those I did enjoy very much.

I was so shocked when I saw this on the news during the day! I feel so sorry for his family, especially his 2 year old daughter who will now grow up without her father in her life. Such a tragedy

I still wan't to know why Heath and Michelle separated, when it seems that they still so obviously cared for each other....oh, well....C'est la Vie....
