[WIP] Orginal Sci-fi Concept Art

One of the things I want to do in the new year is to give original sci-fi writing a try, to that effect I have started on concept art to go with it.

My first piece of concept art is a ship to surface shuttle craft.


I hope you all enjoy and I'll be adding more as time allows. (from now till the 24th is going to be crazy busy with work.)

It's going to be human.

A fair bit of the technology will be based around a golden age of technological advancement, so a lot of inertia less and gravity based technologies. The overall setting will be more regressed, based after a massive calamity with a lot of rebuilding and recovering.

Maybe in a loss way. I want to be dark with the main timeline but not in the way that 40k is grimdark. Also it will be solar based (95% on earth) with no alien presence but there will be a supernatural element along the line of an old evil pulling the strings from behind the scenes. Much of the old technology still exists in the setting and there is no resentment in using it but the industrial capability to make it has been damaged or destroyed which limits it's use.

Well, it looks like you have a good big plot in the making, I look forward to see more designs and a bit more about the plot (whenever you fee like you ca, of course ).

And I like the shuttle, it looks less fragile than the Eagles from Space:1999, but maybe still as useful .

What I want to use is the Tiamat and I'm sure there will be tentacles.
