New Fleet Assignments Needed

I've saved up over 1000 fleetmarks and i have nowhere to put them.
The current fleet assignments go slow simply because they ask for officers which are hard to come by, hard to come by at a decent price that is.

Perhaps something new will spark everyone's interest.

I unfortunately haven't been on in a long while, due to my PC dying and struggling to just save files sometimes and so I don't dare run any games. Hopefully SciFiFan can add some more assignments in time.

When you mean officers do you mean duty officers? You know you can get them for free right? Using the personnel officer at the academy and doing duty assignments. Plus there are also cultural exchange officers at the academy where you can get some for free as well.

I know you can get duty officers for free, but you have to get lucky to draw the wanted officers especially when you need 30 of each.

I have not been on the game in a long time as well. I have been taking a break from it. I will log on tonight when I get home and see what projects we can run that are not so demanding. The constant grind that the game has become is getting to me and taking the fun out of it. I am hoping that this hiatus will help me out. I will warn you all that there are some changes coming down from the devs that may make it more difficult to get the material needed for projects. One thing that seems to be happening is that they have all these things (and new things coming) that require dilithium and at the same time, people are saying that dilithium resource gathering is getting nerfed. I have always taken a wait and see approach on these things because in the past, it never was as bad as people on the forums made them out to be. Recently though, my belief that it will be the same as waned.

I have started a new fleet project and queued up more as requested. The problem is, they each only require 300 FM. With the fleet being primarily inactive at the moment, it will take some time and effort to finish the projects. I would recommend doing what you can but, don't exhaust your resources to complete them. I am hoping I will regain interest in the game again soon. I also hope that the rest of the fleet will some day join in as well. I am considering selling the +2k Zen I have to help with the dilithium requirements of the special projects. I am not 100% decided on that yet though.

I think I might start back up soon as I just finished building a desktop that can easily max out STO. Should be fun.

I'm a bit over STO atm too, now to hear they are going to nerf dilithium gathering, makes me either more comfortable with the fact I haven't be on it ages.

Good to hear you got a new PC Zax, I need to get one myself, it's ready for retirement, next year with any luck we will have the cash to get one probably after Christmas with any luck.
