• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.

You know, Majestic was nice enough to fix my account, I'm gonna post this here too. (In case anyone's interested)

Well, anyways I'm kinda messing around with an old model I started and didn't finish. This one is around 1593 polies currently

And this one with a Vulcan ring warp drive is around 1370

Some very interesting work there, looks like a 2200-2220 era designs. The poly counts are awesome too, especially considering TOS era designs can sometimes be poly intensive.

I also cleaned up my old battleship. This one is 1576 exactly (although I think there are some stray polies in it

Nice looking models

Please note Blitzy - large images mess up the site layout view for those viewing the thread. Because of that, We only ask that large images be placed into a spoiler box. That's why I edited your post.

Umm Syf, could you edit the top post too please? It won't let me. Thanks in advance.

I really like the Battleships design. It would make a nice future replacement for the Galaxy-X from ST:TNG "all good things".

The first post all images are within site limits for image size, so there is no need to edit and add a spoiler. Site image limit is 800x600 for images, anything bigger must be in a spoiler. As for editing, that is correct, you can not edit a post after a specific amount of time. But in any instance, just ask any staff member that is a moderator of the section. They will be glad to make any edits if us Admins are not available.

I have to say, I don't really like the stock models nor their textures, but you've got some nice lokking work going here regardless. Keep up the good work, and let's see then completed.

P.S. What are the Poly counts on these?

Yeah stock textures are horrid, the models can in some instances be improved upon with some mesh corrections, rewelding of faces and so forth. Might I suggest you try and find some fan made textures get permission and apply them to your models?

Still an interesting design which I rather like.
