• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.

Hey all,

Just wanted to give you all a heads up that the night before last I was rushed to hospital. I woke up at 1am with massive pains and by 3am a Ambulance had shown up and I was taken to hospital.

After various tests and being bumped with enough drugs to make me feel like Jimmy the Junkie (Watch Housos or Dumb Criminals on youtube to know who I am talking about) I finally was sent home although still in pain.

It was discovered I had/have a Kidney Stone, I have yet to pass it to my knowledge but it was a rather small one. Small ones are apparently the worse as they move around a lot causing the pain.

After a sleep yesterday afternoon I woke up pain free so I am hoping I am through the worst of it, however I have home bound myself for a few days hoping that I will pass it or so that I know the pain won't return.

Kind of scared me with that title. Thankfully, kidney stones are rarely life threatening. Just keep on keepin' on and it should go away.

Get well soon man. An old roommate of mine had chronic kidney stones and I know that it was a rough go for him. Hopefully things will pass quickly for you.

...uhh...that was an unintended pun, but I'm just going to go with it.

Heal up and rest up. You'll be back in tip top shape before you know it.

Good to hear that you are doing better. Never had to deal with one myself but I know a few family members that have. Nasty thing to go through.

Hope you don't end up getting that again. Not a good thing at all, no kidding. Most of my dad's family have had kidney stones at some point, which doesn't bode well.

Stay well man!

Get well soon! Science needs to develop transporter technology. Then they could just beam kidney stones out into space!

I'm happy to hear you're feeling better! :) I've had more than my fair share of health problems, but nothing quite as painful as that.

Getting kidney stones is a fear I have. I drink tons of water and cranberry juice. I am glad to hear you are doing better!
