• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.

Thats insanely cool.

At Celebration Europe they had a group that had built a full Mos Eisley, including the landing pit with the Falcon resting in it. Apparently each half took about 6 hours. they told us how many bricks too, but i cant remember the number they quoted, other than being insanely large

I just want to know where they got some of the pieces in that thing. I've looked and looked for some huge flats like that for a "challenge" I want to have a go at.:)

Also, is it solid, or is it a wooden center with bricks glued to the outside? They have a engine stand to push that thing around with after all. That tells me they had to mount it onto something other than several 1 inch rectangle bricks.

And the last thing is, is it actually filled will hundreds of tiny Lego stormtroopers?:p

I disagree, Syf. The Lego (actually the contraction for the Danish for 'Let's play') company has master builders in its employ (according to my copy of "The Ultimate Lego Book', its not that easy a job to get in the first place let alone advance in) who have access to every kind of brick ever made and are quite able to build that thing solidly out of nothing but Lego bricks. The engine stand could just be mounting for transportation.

I cite Legoland, California as my evidence. There are things there that dwarf that Star Destroyer and are made entirely of Legos.

Aye, I've been to Legoland and you'd be amazed at what those Master Builders can do with access to as many LEGO bricks as they want, when they want. I'd love it if LEGO decided to release a version of the Venator that's the size of their collectors edition Star Destroyer because I'd definitely buy it...
