Hello from Straxus!

Hello everyone!
I was doing a websearch and came across a post referering to "Warlords Modding Union" in Achilles "Hey" thread. Peaking my interests I had to join and say howdy to him and alot of others I recognized here from other boards (mainly from AFC) .
The Warlords Modding Union reference peaked my interest as I was one of the three founding members of it...that was a long time ago now...hehehe, but as Achilles said, good times.
I really have not done much in the form of video game modding in last year or more. I am pursuing other hobbies now, but like to jump in and see what people are up to. Maybe someday I will finish my "Galactic Uprisings Mod"

I think I remember mention of this site over at AFC before I quit modding. You might have given me an invite just before I got burned out on modding.

Doing good to ok... depends on the week... LOL.
I have tried to occasionaly check in on your Seaquest mod progress.
I hope the work continues. Ya still using any of the models I made for it?

I have redone some but there are still a few. I still work on it from time to time but haven't been public about it for quite a while.

I did just recently discover how to animate so I have given seaQuest her wireless seaprobes (WSKRS - Wireless Sea Knowledge Retervial Satellites) for a more canon feel, but thats been about it really.

Welcome straxus. Glad to see you've found our little nitch in the web. Modding interests may have led you here, but let me point out, this site is more than a Modding community. It just begins there. If it's related to Science Fiction, it's welcome here. That includes videogames, books, movies, T.V. series... The list goes on. We even have general areas for non-sci-fi topics. Very robust, we are. So welcome. I hope to see you visit more often.

I do sculting, molding/casting parts and action figure customizing primarily these days. Primarily star wars stuff but branching out. I prefer 1/18 scale customs.

The first Warlord's Modding Union forum was where I first discovered modding (not sure why they were the first boards I found) I think the board went dead before I posted my first model even but thanks for providing part of community that gave me my start.

Well this site has been few a few reincarnations over the last 2.5 years. Been here for a while now and intend to stay. You may have registered with one of the older versions before I bought the vBulletin software.

I cant remember if I was going by Straxus or Yoda of Borg back then. I think it was far enough back that I was using both names on different armada modding forums. Now I just stick to Straxus. With the exception of Transformer forums, if you see a Straxus out there, its probably me...hehe. The guy(s) on the transformer forums isnt me...
