Occam's class science ship

class motto : lex parsimoniae,

Latin which means 'law of parsimony'

n.
the principle in philosophy and science that assumptions introduced to explain a thing must not be multiplied beyond necessity, and hence the simplest of several hypotheses is always the best in accounting for unexplained facts.
Also called Occam's razor

Archimedes Class
The mission profile of the Archimedes Class varied from performing various scientific and exploratory roles to conducting patrol and transport duties.

Hello:
I like the Occam's class science ship a lot. Another great ship design. It looks futuristic though, maybe to go in the STO timeline? It would look nice flying with the Archimedes Class :D .

Chiletrek, Hellkite isn't a fan of STO to put it mildly. I can't blame him a lot of the time to be honest. :lol2:

The gameplay is fun (in space, anyway), but the plot can be iffy and the designs are usually derivative. Especially the Vigilant. The Stargazer is actually quite nice, though. Especially after I blended it with the Dakota and just a dash of Cheyenne.

Hello:
Well, it sure looks like Majestic's warning came a little too late .

Sorry Hellkite I meant no offense.... of course I can only speak for myself and not for the STO developpers :lol2: .

A drawing challenge for Hellkite! I issue it solely because my own drawing attempts at this one have been abysmal, and I think you can do much better than I!

The Christopher-class is mentioned only in one book that I know of, the wonderful Starfleet: Year One, which presented an alternate take on the Romulan War before Enterprise came to grace our screens.

In that novel, it was the primary combat ship of Earth's fleet during the war, and six of them formed the backbone of the fledgling Federation Starfleet. I've never seen a realization of it. It's sole description, in so far as I can find, is a whiskey bottle with a pair of warp nacelles slung under(?) it.

Interested?

@Chiletrek No offence is taking my friend .
The only thing that is offensive is STO and how they wasted the potential they were given .

Thanks Maj.

I tipped a bottle of Johnnie Walker Blue Label over and drank a glass to Matt Jefferies just to get it right :)

Yep only 8 bombs

Tricobalt devices

The tricobalt warhead is a subspace weapon whose high-yield detonations can tear holes in subspace. Tricobalt devices are not a standard armament of Federation vessels and yields are calculated in Tera-Cochranes, indicating that its mechanism is somewhat similar to the general reaction in a warp field.

Mark 19 Tricobalt devices 370 Tera-Cochranes, or the equivalent of six Sovereign-class warp-cores going off at once ruffly

Design to deal with the threat of a Borg establishing "beach head" colony / base of operations on of near federation territory in 2368 But was never used until the 2375 to destroy Sona ketracel-white manufacturing station near a Son'a colony in the outlying area near Cardassia a week after the events in Insurrection. ""Operation Bleeding White ""

Hello:
Oh dear! that means that little bomber is a ship to be afraid of. I like it :D .

I can imagine it will be a new addition to the USS Midway's shuttlebays? ;) .

Some have been done over the years and are in the resources section of this site .
But sadly I am not a model maker just a designer.
