• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.

Happy Halloween 2012!

Indeed! :D Later I will try to post pics of what I am doing for a costume. I went all out this year and bought $70 worth of fabric to make a fully accurate Jedi robe, and bought enough hardware to make two lightsabers with light up blades.(Electroluminescent wire is cool stuff)

Man, that's awesome!

My halloween was mostly restricted to, you know, mumbling "tales of the weird rites and godless revels of bygone years" etc... ^(;,;)^

Halloween is hardly celebrated in the Netherlands as well. There are some minor children events, some Halloween parties which are about dressing up and getting drunk but that's about it.

We have November 1th called "Sint Maarten" in which children go door to door with a lampoon, singing songs etc. Maybe i'm old fashion, but i like that a whole lot more than the whole dressing up like monsters.

Here's a translated wiki for you ruffians who don't speak dutch.

I can understand that Andre. I prefer to celebrate Australia Day (basically our version of the USA Independence Day), it's in Summer and so many people have BBQ's, go to the lake/beach and swim and just have a good day. I too prefer that over the dressing up as monsters. Unfortunately we get our fair share of hoons and low lifes who like to ruin it for everyone else. But isn't that always the way with just about everything?

I don't celebrate Halloween either. Though I had some candy ready if someone would come to my door. But no one did (maybe because of the rain shower that day).
Though I do hope that those that celebrated it, had a great day. :)
