Hey all,

I realise this game isnt as popular as AII but i like it and, well, i want to get a few ships into the game.

As i have said in other threads, i have been working on a Galaxy X refit.

I finally decided to slap on random textures (they dont fit) i got all the files in the right folders, i compared them to the files you get when u download a ship, and they are all there, however, i get this error whenever i start a skirmish.

can anyone help me solve this issue?

That is very random indeed... I'm clueless, though I ponder why you slapped on some random textures for? :lol2:

because the grouping the model needs (for the geometry) and the segmentation of the textures dont corespond.

Example;

Saucer Top and bottom are seperate textures, but the model needs them combined to get the damage INT_Saucer to work correctly (AFAIK anyway)

So i just figured id make sure my dds converter worked and id slap on the Galaxy textures, leaving the retexturing work till later.

that answer it for you?? ;) :lol2:

So what your saying is that the textures need to be one texture?

no, they need to be three or 4.

I can do it, im just lazy! lol.

I "slapped" on the random ones just to make sure i got everything else right.
