There were so many good moments in SW but, today, I'll choose just one: The opening scenes in Ep.V - the battle on the Ice Planet Hoth. How magnificent were those Imperial Walkers? I just loved that whole sequence.

A bad moment? Probably the unveiling of Darth Vader in Ep.VI. I don't know about anyone else, but I was expecting a rock-jawed Goliath, instead there was Uncle Fester!! Oh, the disappointment!
I just loved the Vader character and it was all gone in one fell swoop.
Ah, well....
I have to agree with you on that point, pretty weak that event was. Should of been done better, as it was a major event for both the Vader and Luke Skywalker characters.

Another weak one was when Anakin fell to the darkside in episode 3. :(

I really liked the opening battles of episode 3 as well as the beginning of episode 4.

Good point: The Force!

bad point: When Darth Vader first gets his suit on and does the whole cheesy "wheres Padme?" *emperor*"its appears in your anger you killed her" *Vader* breaks straps and drops to his knees "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!" Far far to cheesy i mean come on i nearly burst out laughing at that point.

Good point: Nice Clone Trooper vehicles

Bad Point: Tactics at the Geonosis Landing, no way better than the droids.

Best Scene: Opening Space Battle from Episode III / Final Space Battle in Episode VI (These were both done really well and were exciting as all get out).

Worst Scene: Battle for Naboo (Captain Tarpals) "No giving up Jar Jar. Weesa thinka sumthin'." (Battle Droid) "Hands up!" (Jar Jar shoots hands into the air) "My give up."

I. Hate. Binks.

Bad moment: The first time you watch a lightsaber duel from the origonal trilogy after seeing one from the new movies :(

Agreed lol!

personally, i think there are a lot of good moments in the films, far too many to mention. the bad points on the other hand are easier: anakin building threepio, jar jar binks, the whole explanation of the force in the prequel trilogy (it should have been left as alec guiness' explanation as a mystical energy), and the Vader "Noooooooooooooooo!" moment in episode 3 after being put in the suit. that moment effectively destroyed darth vader forever more

Bad:

episodes one and two utterly fouled my experience, I didn't bother with three. As has been stated the reduction of the force's mysticism (apparently later completely forgotten) down to mitochondria (or something similar)... pointless at the very best. And Anakin.... the whole depiction was just sad.

There were so very many deep and interesting characterisation conflicts, drama on a plate if you will, they singlehandedly fluffed every single one..

Good:
the ceremony at the end of Four..
Can still remember seeing it for the first time and really feeling the occasion. The crowd may have actually been half cardboard cutouts and the camera work far from crisp but it kicked!
No-one can tell me they did it neatly as emotively in any of the other films.

They are midichlorians ;)

Bad: Annie and Padmé love scenes on Naboo
Good: New ending of Episode VI. If you can get the feeling it rocks! Just imagine: When the news about the death of Sidiou and Vader arrives a planet, the inhabitants begin to celebrate. The local imperial forces don't dare to move because they still don't know what will happen: the Empire will collapse or the battle continues? You came to the answer until the scene arrives to Coruscant. Celebrating people, the statute of Palpatine is collapsing and you finally realize: Although these people are celebrating the freedom and the end of the war, te fight isn't over yet! The moffs come into power in a few days and the war continues but it become more bloody than before. And they celebration will be stopped by guns and rockets...
Back to Endor the rebels are celebrating their greatest victory ever. They all was ready for death and now the old friends can meet again: it can be one of the coolest feelings. But te war isn't over and it looks on Lukes face when he comes back.
But something is happening what gives him more power: He can see his masters, Yoda and Obi-Wan again. And a new face: he can't remember that face but we can! This is Anakin but not the dying Darth Vader but the still innocent and young man, husband of Padmé Amidala, father of Luke and Leia Skywalker, friend of Obi-Wan and the Choosen One who brought balance in the Force.

I can honestly say Carrie Fisher in a gold bikini...........

I remember something that Carrie Fisher said on Jay Leno, but in the interest of keeping this a family friendly site, I'll keep it to myself.

Suffice it to say, I was heavy into an XBOX Live "Star Wars Battlefront II" Hoth battle when she said it, but I dropped the remote when she said it. Something I would have never expected..
