• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.

Well, apparently a few people within a mile of me felt it, though I didn't. I either slept through it, or it wasn't felt here.

The end of the world is nigh?

I was more interested in the reporting that followed it, and a quite serious paper trying to explain the quake solely in terms of shifting plates... despite the fact there really aren't any plates anywhere near Lincolnshire...

Edit: (oops, that didn't come out quite right, but I hear they eat on the floor instead :p)

I was still awake, so I felt it. Shook the whole area, felt like someone was pushing the bed.

and condolences to the one man who was injured when a chimney stack fell on him. Hope he gets well soon

I know what you are saying, but dont worry the press are making a big enough meal out of it, the way they keep going on, you would think the UK is now on the San Adreas fault (i think thats spelt right), well, they will keep on with it until someone shoots at prince Harry, all hail the press and the peanuts they call brains............

Tbh the media is a joke (no offence) The way i see it is, we only ever see teh news of when somethings gone wrong, which, to the vast number of the population, is all that happens, like the police never catch people, they only ever fumbles. etc.

one of my hosue mates is a Journalism student, and he is wanting to go into TV news/Newspapers. And he has never even heard mention of spin. Which i guess is more a polotics thing, btu basically his articles are focusing on teh negative of everything, rather than the good sides.

For example a Man was murdered in Preston a few weeks ago, and they fpcused on how he died, not that fact that a passerby managed to incapacitate the culprit and call for an ambulance, just that a the man died, and the police didnt do anything.

Anywya i feel i am straying from teh subject i do apologise.
