Pier Pressure was an audio story that featured the Sixth Doctor and Evelyn and it was released by Big Finish Productions in January 2006.
This was written by Robert Ross. Ross' first and previous Big Finish story Medicinal Purposes released in 2004 also a Sixth Doctor/Evelyn story featured in the guest cast David Tennant. Coincidentally when I finished listening to Medicinal Purposes in April 2005 it was mere hours before I found out that David Tennant had become the Tenth Doctor.
With David Tennant becoming the Tenth Doctor, in an interview with DWM Ross was asked if the Pier Pressure cast included the future Eleventh Doctor and he jokingly suggested Roy Hudd (who played real life comedian Max Miller in the story).
With David Tennant's tenure as the Doctor soon coming to an end and given when I listened to Medicinal Purposes, from my perspective I could easily say that Matt Smith should have been in Pier Pressure.
Fortunately he was not as Pier Pressure is a lot of drivel.
Especially unimpressive was the nine minute TARDIS scene in Part 3. Very long and very unnecessary.
Pier Pressure had been said to be a mix of comedy and horror but it is neither funny nor scary.
Absolutely terrible.
