• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

    Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

    We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.

Two direct to DVD SG-1 movies has been greenlighted by MGM:

"What's the future of Stargate SG-1? Fans have been wondering and rumors have been flying for weeks since the long-running SCI FI Channel series was cancelled in August. Now, at least the first part of that answer is here.

MGM has given a green light for the show's creators to produce two direct-to-DVD movies based on SG-1."

Outstanding news I myself actually suggested this when the show was cancelled.

Its great to see SG-1 isn't actually dead. :excited:

It would be nice if they were to finish the series this way.

I think that a lot of Sci-Fi themed series would do great as a direct to DVD release.

Actually the original movie producer wanted to do three Stargate movies, these are just the other two. There is more about this on the SCi-Fi.com Pulse I think. Look for something about Dean Devlin.

I hope these movies are good. If I'm not mistaken, the first is about the Ori Threat, and the second, about a Goa'uld threat.
