• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.

Yeah, just got this game, and i must say i wasnt sure what could surpass DMC3, but i think this has done it.

admitedly im only to the first boss, but im loving it, not only is it fun to play it also looks pretty too lol.

Anyone else played it?

I guess this game isnt really for the "hardcore" gamers, as most parts of it are generally button bashing, just button bashing with skill as time delays between buttong bashes change the attack. the conterols are pretty standard otherwise. and im loving playign as Nero, although from readign the manual it seems that playing as Dante isnt far off. I started it not too long ago, and the only reason i put it down is because i got hungry! lol

Let me know what you think of it, i must say i am a huge DMC fan. Althoguh the first was a bit wooden, in movement and feel. as for the second - i havent got around to playign that yet.

I've only heard of the title, I don't even know what the game is about, do you mind enlightening me? :)

basically from what i know its set in a world similar to ours, where humans were once ruled by demons. one demon "woke up to justice" and decided to turn on his kind in order to free the demons, and in doing so he closed the gateway to "hell". At the cost of his wife, or his own life, i cant really work that out. either way in doing so Sparda lost his demonic powers when the gateway was closed.

This Demon, known as Sparda, had 2 Children. Identical twins, one called Dante and the other was Virgil.

We first see Dante as setting up a demon hunting business, at the begining of DMC3. a mysterioud man walks in to talk to him, and quickly leaves. you discover that that man was working with Virgil who wishes to unlock Sparda's power, and claim it for himself, however to do so, he needs the necklace matchign his own, which is held by his brother Dante.

Following many meetings, and bosses, Dante Fights against his brother, who then realises he had been manipulated by that mysterious man. With time fading before the gateway back to the human world fading Dante escapes, which his fathers sword, leaving his brother there.

Well thats more of what happened in DMC3 which afaik is the begining of the story.

As i havent completed the first 2 i cant really tell more of the story, however i know its along the same lines, you play as Dante, and fight against demons working towards an ultimate goal.

hope this has helped. and Majestic, its definately worth a buy :D
