• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

    Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

    We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.

Well I thought I'd start posting my various screenshots here, most of these are currently in the a2files Picture of the Day queue, but given the number of pics in the queue (218 at last check) I may as well post them here as well :)

All of the shots are ingame, I've got quite a few saved on my HDD, but these are some of the best ones I've done. I hope you enjoy them :)

They all look awesome, I am curious where you got those Defiant, 375 and DS9 models from, as I was attempting to poly reduce 9 of 9's Defiant, but only got it down to like 1600-2000 polies.

Put me in the same "wonder" as Majest at your starbase. If that's for A2, that's the finest looking 375 model I've seen anywhere, and I want it. :D

EDIT to add: That Excelsior model too. Oh, and strangely, that's USS Bellerophon at the Caretaker's array. Somebody better wake up Admiral Ross. He's gonna be reeeeeeeeeeally mad :D

I'm with them. I want:D The Excelcior looks like P81s like the Galaxy, Nebula, Maranda, and Akira.

Thanks, the Defiant is 9 of 9's, in my game I use it as a warship variant due to the poly count.

The 375 model is the Federation Outpost from FleetOps, I've seen jetfreak use it a number of times as well, as you said it's a brilliant model :)

The DS9 model is from BI:VR, I just lightmapped and re-hardpointed it to improve it a little. :)

Some of the models are p81's - the Miranda and Excelsior are p81's, the Akira is from BI:VR, the Nebula is from the pack Ash released. The Galaxy Class is p81's model that I've retextured using the textures from DJ Curtis' Galaxy Class mod for Bridge Commander :)

This one, in my opinion, has to be the best. :)

I ponder though, why you posted them both on threads, and for PoTD. I know they're slow going up, but now that everyone has seen them, they wont get sush high ratings. I speak from personal experiance here. :)

Nice pic, though I doubt the saucer section would escape with only impulse engines to move it.

Indeed I love the Galaxy on a normal day and this Galaxy looks awesome, I always liked Federation ships with more whiteish textures nice work. :thumbsup:

Thanks! And you are probably right Dan, once the Warbirds take care of the Battle Section, they'll have their way with the Saucer shortly after (unless it has a cloak) ;)
