• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.

Hi, everybody. This thread is dedicated to an interesting discussion, and one that should concern us all: The sheer volume of natural disasters happening lately.

If you know of any, or live near any, feel free to add.....

For my one, our weather patterns are all wierd. Hot, cold, hot, cold....and now, a sudden and severe drought in our biggest farming areas....not to mention fire!

We've had it all here in Australia this year too. Storms, flooding, fires, heat, snow in weird places... I dread to think what the weather will be like in 20 years time here!

We have had a ton of rain here over the summer. Normally there is a drought over the summer.

And not to mention the earthquakes, tsunami and other things all over the middle to far East, and, if I'm correct, almost record amount of hurricanes in the Atlantic.....really strange.....

Washington has had some wierd weather as well, for instance it hasn't rained in almost a month and a half, and we are a state know for the rain, no matter what time of year... Granted we aren't under threat of drought like some other US states are at the moment, but it does have me a bit worried...

Talk about cold weather......we seem to be ocillating between 30+ degrees two days ago, to more or less 18-19 degrees for this weekend, starting at 21-23 degrees........and what about the reports of icebergs from Antarctica floating of the RSA coastline......

we have apparently a record of a warm october... but i can assure you it don't feel that way

The indian summer they are talking about on the news is p[erhaps a bit of an overstatement...

ahh well the end of the world is undoubtedly nigh...
lets just hope they don't have student loans collectors in the afterlife..
