• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

    Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

    We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.

Well I have plans for this thread, but I wanted to start it.

Rifraf and I are making this Star Wars mod and while I am doing all the modeling and texturing work, Rifraf is doing the hard stuff ie the coding, AI and balancing.

However I have also taken it upon myself to do a lot of the graphic work and to kick this thread off here is the logo and icon I made for the mod. Hopefully this weekend I'll have something more solid to show you all.

I like the icon image! Nice weathering effect on the letters.

Thanks Zelph, I am hoping to have something more to show in a couple of days, depending on how much I can get done on the weekend. Rifraf has been getting a early look being he is a co-authour of the mod and I want his approval before posting anything here.

I am quite happy with the results I am getting. :D

It's still all in the beta stage, still have a lot to do, including fixing up some of the earlier menus to match the later ones. Plus there are a few files I can't seem to find, they seem to be nowhere in the bitmaps folder (of the FO stock) yet they still appear. In anyone knows if there are alternative locations for some of the menus please let me know.
