A New TOS Fleet Taking Shape.

I have begun a set of TOS ships. I have in this image an "Expedition Class" scout, a light destroyer, a heavy destroyer, a light cruiser (looks similar to but is not a Miranda), a battleship (similar to the Yorktown from Legacy) and a "Ptolemy Class" in a tight formation.

I assume those numbers are the poly counts if so you have done a simply amazing and outstanding job here. Can't wait till you get those beasties textured.

Those are indeed the poly count and Thank You very much.

I plan on designing a TOS of every type of stock ship. I may use the Ptolemy for all the support rolls as discussed earlier. I still need two cruisers, a science ship, a frigate and another battleship.

I am thinking of redoing my own Bonaventure.

That sounds awesome, you plan on making a full TOS Federation race out of this?

I think Star Trek XI has been a real success as many have been inspired to look back at the TOS as evident at how many in the Armada community alone have gone to look back and work on projects from TOS series myself included.

I must say you are doing very well at keeping the poly counts down, simply awesome.

As far as the Bonaventure goes if you want mine to help base yours off at all, just sent me a PM and I can send you the MS3D file if you think it will help you revamp yours, depending on what you plan to do with it.

I actually wanted to do a full mod (at least the ships anyways as the interfaces are beyond me at this point) with the re-imagined (STXI) ships.
