The Eros Class Lightstar is one of the smallest Colonial warships. She is designed for patrol, escort and scouting missions where sending a Raptor mission would be either too dangerous or too long term. At 300m long, the Eros can be deployed from the flight pods of larger warships such as the Columbia or Mercury, though she is equipped with her own jump drive. Armed with 6 KEW turrets, the Eros can defend herself against enemy fighters or equivalent sized capital ships, though anything larger will be overpowering. The Eros carries no fighters or support craft onboard.
